    Hike along the network of trails that pass through the beautiful Lynn Headwaters Regional Park as you make your way around the Lynn Loop and into the backcountry of the North Shore. Cross over mountain streams and exposed roots to cap off the day with views of the stunning Norvan Falls. This popular day hike is definitely one to have on your list.

    Route Description for Lynn Headwater Trail to Norvan Falls

    The Lynn Headwaters Trail is an amazing day hike through the beautifully green forests of Lynn Headwaters Regional Park, that will lead you to the picturesque Norvan Falls. This 18.2 km loop passes through some pretty muddy terrain due to the many mountain streams in the area. Make sure to wear proper hiking footwear and watch your footing, as the trail can become quite slippery.

    Setting off on the trail from the parking lot, make your way across the bridge over Lynn Creek and register as a hiker in the area near the big sign. Follow the trail to the right to make your way around the southern edge of the Lynn Loop Trail, passing through its beautiful forests of Hemlock and Douglas Fir.

    Continue north at the junction to transition onto the Headwaters Trail, as it crosses over countless streams, before hitting a junction with the Norvan Falls Trail. Follow this short trail to the right and you will soon see the picturesque Norvan Falls with its water crashing onto the rocks below.

    After spending some time taking in the sights, head back to the Headwaters Trail, turning left and continuing until you reach another junction. Follow this to the right, skirting alongside the banks of Lynn Creek, as you make your way back to the parking lot.

    Getting to the Lynn Headwater Trail to Norvan Falls Trailhead

    To get to the parking lot at the Lynn Headwaters trailhead from Vancouver, head north along the Trans Canada Highway/BC-1 W and cross over the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge. Take the exit on the right for Mountain Highway, and after 2.5 km turn right onto Lynn Valley Rd. Follow this for 3.0 km and you will reach the parking lot.
