Route Description for Whytecliff Park – Panorama Ridge Trail
The Panorama Ridge Trail in Whytecliff Park is a short 1.1 km loop that is a perfect afternoon hike for families with young children that are looking to enjoy the outdoors. There aren’t many views along this trail, but it’s a great little hike with gentle elevation changes that is sure to get any little adventurers excited.
Located near Horseshoe Bay, Whytecliff Park has several amenities that can be enjoyed before or after your hike, including beaches, a concession stand, and picnic areas. To start your hike, set off from the trailhead and follow the trail to the left to loop around the ridge in a clockwise direction. As mentioned, there are a few up and downs along the trail, but in no time you will be back at the trailhead and ready to continue your day of fun in the sun.
Getting to the Whytecliff Park – Panorama Ridge Trail Trailhead
To get to Whytecliff Park and the Panorama Ridge trailhead from West Vancouver, drive west along BC-99 and take exit 2 for Eagleridge Drive. At the roundabout, take the first exit and keep right to continue on Horseshoe Bay Drive. Make a left turn onto Marine Drive and take the first exit on the roundabout to continue on Marine Drive. Keep straight through the next roundabout, driving along Marine Drive for another 2.0 km to reach the trailhead.
