Snainton Circular Walk

The Snainton Circular Walk is a great family adventure that offers beautiful views of the countryside along the edge of North York Moors National Park. While out walking the trail, you will pass through the charming village of Snainton and make your way across open fields, before looping around a charming forested dale. This is an excellent walk that can easily be undertaken if you have a few spare hours on the weekend.

Route Description for Snainton Circular Walk
Walking the Snainton Circular Trail is a great option if you want to get outside and explore nature, but don’t want to make the commitment to a long or difficult route. This moderate length trail features laid back countryside terrain, making for an easy adventure that can be completed by nearly everyone.
Setting out from the trailhead beside the Coachman Inn, you will head to the northeast to pass through the lovely village of Snainton, climbing gradually uphill before descending into a wooded dale. Here, you will traverse the tranquil forest landscape for a short distance, before exiting the tree cover on a loop through open fields that will take you uphill to the north. After passing by some large buildings, you will turn to the southwest and make your way across the fields to meet up with Cliff Lane, following it south on the return into Snainton where you began.

The trailhead for the Snainton Circular Walk can be found next to the Coachman Inn just off B1258 in Snainton.
