From the second parking lot, the trailhead for Crest Trail is easy to spot. About 300 m into your walk, you’ll notice a path veering east. Ignore this and continue straight to stay on the main Rattlesnake Point route. If you prefer a slightly longer outing, this side path can be used to form a loop by turning right at the next two junctions and reconnecting with Crest Trail. Kalamalka Provincial Park has an extensive trail network, so route options are flexible.

Continuing straight on Crest Trail, also known as the Rattlesnake Point Trail, leads directly to the Rattlesnake Point viewpoint. From here, wide views open over Kalamalka Lake and the Okanagan Valley. Side paths appear near the viewpoint, but staying on the main trail ensures the most direct route. Getting to the Rattlesnake Point Trail Trailhead

Follow Kalamalka Lake Road until you reach Kidston Road, where you’ll turn right. After 2.0mi, take a left to stay on Kidston Road. Continue by the main parking lot to the second parking lot. The second parking lot will be on your right.
