Marymere Falls Trail from Lake Crescent Lodge

Whether you’re staying at the Lake Crescent Lodge or just visiting the area, the Marymere Falls Trail is an easy, quick jaunt to a pretty waterfall in the forest. This waterfall is only 3.2 km away and there is only 93 m of elevation gain to contend with, making this a suitable little trip for most adventurers.
This hike does get quite busy, so it’s ideal if you can visit outside of peak hours.

Route Description for Marymere Falls Trail from Lake Crescent Lodge
Marymere Falls is a cute little waterfall in the forest near Lake Crescent Lodge, and reaching the falls from the lodge is quick and easy. The trail is just over 3.0 km and easy to follow, making it suitable for beginners and kids. Because it’s so convenient to reach from the lodge, expect heavy traffic.
The hike begins from outside the lodge, where the trail begins from the intersection of the parking loop and the road that runs in front of the lodge.
Cross Lake Circle Road and begin walking alongside Barnes Creek. You’ll drop down to Olympic highway and cross here. At the T-junction, go right. Stay right and then right where the trail crosses the river. Crossing over the water one more time, you’ll approach the falls at a viewpoint. Snap some photos before retracing your steps back to the start of the hike.
