Berns Trail

Berns Trail packs a heart-pumping workout, incredible views of Palm Springs, and a mountainous backdrop into one phenomenal outdoor adventure. This hike can get confusing, thanks to a network of trails carved throughout the area, so be sure to download a GPS before going. Remember to pack a hat and sunscreen!

Route Description for Berns Trail
Berns Trail is an excellent option if you want both a workout and unreal scenery. This fun hike starts from Araby Cove and follows a moderately challenging incline towards the loop section of the Berns Trail. The circuit part will give you a chance to catch your breath while you soak in the astounding scenery. There’s an incline at the end of the loop. Before you moan and groan, know that you’ll eventually dip and descend along the same path that led you to the loop, which will carry you back toward the trailhead.
Getting to the Berns Trail Trailhead
To get to the start of Berns Trail, head to Araby Cove along S Araby Drive.
