Route Description for Chatsworth Aqueduct Circular Walk
Walking the Chatsworth Aqueduct Circular is a popular outdoor activity in the Peak District due to the beautiful views of the surrounding Derbyshire countryside, as well as the chance to visit the historic Chatsworth House with its charming aqueduct waterfall. The trail sets out from the parking area and travels northwest to first traverse the rugged terrain of the moor before entering into the thick cover of the forest. After making your way through the wonderful woodland atmosphere, you will eventually arrive at the site of a lovely aqueduct that serves as a waterfall, allowing the stream to flow downhill towards the grand Chatsworth House below. After taking in the sights, head back along the trail to return to the car park where you began your scenic journey.
