Route Description for Morris Reservoir and Terrace Trail Loop
The Morris Reservoir and Terrace Trail Loop is a fantastic place to spend an afternoon with the whole family. This trail is popular and shared by runners, dog-walkers, hikers, and cyclists. Please be aware of your surroundings, allow faster folks to pass you by, and always keep your dog on leash. The Morris Reservoir and Terrace Trail Loop offers fantastic views of the city and a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown Salt Lake. This trail is relatively flat and very well maintained, so it’s a great destination for hikers of all abilities and kids of all ages.
From the trailhead, follow the path as it forms a figure-eight style loop past the reservoir and around the park to land you back at the trailhead.

Getting to the Morris Reservoir and Terrace Trail Loop Trailhead
This trail begins at the end of North Hilltop Road off of 18th ave in Salt Lake City.
