Route Description for The Bonneville Shoreline Trail: East Orem Section
The East Orem section of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail is a lovely hike on the outskirts of town. This trail does not get much shade, so be sure to wear sunscreen, a good sunhat, and bring along lots of water for yourself and your hiking party. The Bonneville Shoreline Trail: East Orem Section is a relatively flat hike along a wide, well-maintained trail. This hike is a great option for families with kids of all ages and hikers of all experience levels. This hike is especially gorgeous in the early summer as the wildflowers along the trail are in full bloom.
From the Bonneville Shoreline Trailhead, follow the Bonneville Shoreline Trail as it winds east before turning to head north. Continue along the trail until you reach an old wooden fence that marks the end of this section of trail.
At the fence, simply turn around and follow your footsteps back to the trailhead where you began.
