    Directions to Trailhead

    The Road 1N96C Hike is a great little adventure in the San Bernardino National Forest that is perfectly suited for the whole family to enjoy. While out on the trail, you will make your way through the woodland landscape and gain a small amount of elevation, before arriving at a beautiful grove of Sequoia trees that was planted in the 1970s. You will need an adventure pass for this hike, so make sure to purchase one and display it in your vehicle prior to setting out on your adventure.

    Route Description for Road 1N96C Hike

    Whether you are looking for a great weekend getaway to go camping with the family or simply want to relax in the beauty of nature, the Road 1N96C Hike is a fantastic trail to enjoy near San Bernardino that features some beautiful plant life.

    Setting out from the trailhead, you will follow the path initially to the northwest through the cover of the forest, keeping right to quickly turn your direction to the northeast. Here, you will traverse some undulating terrain and gain a small amount of elevation while enjoying the natural beauty of the woodland atmosphere surrounding you.

    Eventually, you will come to the end point of the trail, where you will be able to explore a beautiful grove of Sequoia trees that was planted in the 1970s. After taking in the sights of the majestic trees, you can simply head back along the trail to return to the starting point of your adventure.

    The trailhead for the Road 1N96C Hike can be found next to the Yellow Post #4 campsite along Keller Peak Road/1N96.
