Route Description for Village to Village Trail
The Village to Village Trail is a wonderful adventure, especially for those who are staying at the Beaver Creek Resort and need an escape. Hike past jolly skiers, towering ski lifts, and enjoy the incredible views of the snow-capped mountains. Note this path is shared with mountain bikers, so be mindful of passers-by! To enjoy this versatile trek year-round, simply trade tour hiking boots for snowshoes! There are plenty of routes in the area, so we suggest using the trail GPS to help easily navigate the route.
Begin your adventure along the Village to Village Trail from the Beaver Creek Plaza. From here, track the Village Loop Trail southwest before merging onto the Dally Trail. This path will guide you through the sparse tree shade of towering pines before delivering you to an intersection. Here, take a sharp right and you will be diverted onto the Village to Village Trail. Now heading northwest through a golden aspen grove, you will intersect with several streams and cross beneath chairlifts.
Follow this path until you meet a junction with the Bear Loop Trail. Take a left here, wandering the Village to Village Trail, merging right onto Bear Loop Trail at the next fork in the road. Loop around and you will eventually reconnect with the Village to Village Trail. From here, retrace your footing along this path all the way back to the trailhead.
