Route Description for Luther Burbank Park Loop
Luther Burbank Park Loop Trail is the ideal way to get into nature and unwind. This easy trail is suitable for all, and it offers all the chance to listen to the sounds of the forest and gaze out over Lake Washington. There are many intersecting trails on this route, so consider downloading a GPS track if you’re not familiar with the park’s layout.
Begin from the parking loop. Go north past the amphitheater, then stop at the viewing platforms for great lake views. From here, continue up to the point on the beach, then follow the trail past the dairy barn ruins. Pass the off-leash area on your left and then turn left to loop under the small dog area up to the beach again.
Walk along the shore past the picnic area to the south end of the park, then loop around to head north. Turn left at the administration building and walk south of the picnic area, then pass the pond to return to where you began.
