Route Description for McCollum Park Forest Loop
This pretty neighborhood forest trail is a simple way to get into nature. The McCollum Park Forest Loop is a short walk suitable for all ages, but note that it’s not paved and can be a bit bumpy in parts, so strollers will need to be capable. Hikers with mobility challenges may find some of these sections difficult, but overall the hike is very easy.
Begin from the pioneer park, heading across the creek. The trail splits and you can walk the loop either way. The experience doesn’t change based on the direction you go. There are no intersecting trails so you won’t be needing to do any navigation. Enjoy the trees and the creek as you loop back to where you began.

The trailhead for the McCollum Park Forest Loop is in McCollum Pioneer Park. Make sure not to park on Meadow Place SE.
