Route Description for Llyn Mair Walk
Llyn Mair is a lovely area for a stroll, with plenty of well-signed paths for exploring the area. If starting from the Oakeley Arms, head east across the stream to access the nearest footpath. Most people take this path east then work their way north in a back-and-forth fashion, looping around to reach the southeast shores of Llyn Mair. However, there is no set route to follow; each visit can be a little bit different.
Keep an eye out for the railway tracks that run through the southern and eastern portions of the area. Llyn Hafod-y-Llyn is a lovely lake to visit before stopping at Llyn Mair for a break and a picnic lunch. Follow the shores of Llyn Mair and the stream draining south from it back to your starting point.
Getting to the Llyn Mair Walk Trailhead
