Route Description for Beacon Hill and Harting Down Circular Walk
The Beacon Hill and Harting Down Circular Walk is a great place to explore if you are looking for history and incredible views. Beginning your journey at the Three Horseshoes pub in Elsted, you will follow the path and explore gorgeous views from the top of Beacon Hill. Continuing, you will see an old Age Fort that existed during the Napoleonic wars. You can then see views from Harting Down and Pen Hill. Making your way on the path you will arrive back at the Three Horseshoes pub as this is a lollipop route.
Getting to the Beacon Hill and Harting Down Circular Walk Trailhead
To get to the Beacon Hill and Harting Down Circular Walk from Midhurt, head west toward Church Hill and follow A286 and A287 to Beacon Hill Road in Beacon Hill. Turn right onto Beacon Hill Road, and in 0.3 km you will arrive at your destination.
