Route Description for Alice Lake Loop
The Alice Lake Loop is a popular family-friendly trail located just north of Squamish in the beautiful Alice Lake Provincial Park. The route is a short circuit around the wooded lake that offers picturesque views over the serene water, with glimpses of the majestic mountains peeking overtop of the trees. The trail itself is well-maintained and has almost no changes in elevation, making it a great option for families with young children who are looking to explore the outdoors. Just remember to leave any furry companions at home, as dogs are not allowed around the lake. Located right next to the Alice Lake Campground, this trail is the perfect accompaniment to a fun weekend of camping at Alice Lake.
Getting to the Alice Lake Loop Trailhead
To reach the trailhead for the Alice Lake Loop from Squamish, head north on BC-99 N and turn right onto Alice Lake Road. After 1.3 km, turn right to enter Alice Lake Campground, where you will find several parking areas.
