Hidden Grove Loop
The Hidden Grove Loop is a 4.7 km hiking circuit north of Sechelt, BC, that will lead you through an amazing forest of old-growth cedar and hemlock trees. While the trail is made up of easy terrain and is fairly straightforward to follow, you might want to consider bringing a GPS or map, as there are some intersecting trails along the route. Make sure to read the interpretive signs to learn about the amazing plant and animal life that can be found in the area.

Route Description for Hidden Grove Loop
Hiking along the Hidden Grove Loop is an amazing adventure that will allow you to walk amongst living giants and experience the natural beauty of the old-growth forests in this area. The trail sets out from the side of the road and immediately enters into the dense tree cover, where you will be surrounded by giant, moss-cover cedar and hemlock trees and a thick underbrush that blankets the forest floor. Along the trail, there will also be a few exposed sections where you will be able to catch a break from the heavy cover of the forest and take in some views of surrounding hillsides and the nearby inlet. After working your way along the loop through the magical atmosphere of the forest, you will arrive back at the trailhead where you began your hike.
Getting to the Hidden Grove Loop Trailhead
To reach the trailhead for the Hidden Grove Loop from Sechelt, head north on Wharf Avenue for 550 m and make a right onto E Porpoise Bay Road. Follow it for 450 m and continue onto Sechelt Inlet Road for another 5.8 km to find the trailhead on the right.
