Stillwater Bluffs Trail
The Stillwater Bluffs Trail is a 3.1 km lollipop hiking route along the Sunshine Coast that provides some amazing views overlooking the blue waters of the Georgia Strait. Along the trail, you will experience an amazing forest setting before breaking out of the tree cover to hike along the rocky bluff. This portion of the loop doesn’t have a dedicated trail, so you will need to follow the edge of the water and keep left until you return to the trail.

Route Description for Stillwater Bluffs Trail
Hiking the Stillwater Bluffs Trail is a short and fun trek along the Sunshine Coast that will provide you with some truly amazing views for little effort. As mentioned, the loop portion of the trail does not have a dedicated trail, so you will need to use very basic route finding skills to follow along the edge of the water and meet back up with the path. Setting out from the parking area, follow the road to the south and head right to make your way past the private property and into the forest. Follow the trail to the right to meander amongst the trees until you arrive at the rocky bluff. Relish in the breathtaking views that stretch out across the water towards Texada Island and follow the edge of the water, keeping left to continue on a route that will meet back up with the main trail. Eventually, you will enter back into the forest and return to the trailhead where you began your hike.
Getting to the Stillwater Bluffs Trail Trailhead
To reach the Stillwater Bluffs Trail from Powell River, head south along BC-101 for 20.5 km and turn right onto Loubert Road. After 1.2 km, turn right to stay on Loubert Road, where you will find roadside parking in 30 m.
