Route Description for Inchree Falls Circular Walk
The Inchree Falls Circular Walk makes for a fantastic family outing, thanks to the straightforward path paired with the entertaining array of waterfalls tumbling throughout. You’ll see information boards detailing three different hikes at the car park, so you can choose one of those or take this route, which fuses two of the walks.
To start, head to the path at the far end of the car park by the picnic table. You’ll see a sign for waterfalls! Continue following the path, catching views of Loch Linnhe as you meander into the woodland. After passing the second footbridge of this walk, you’ll reach the first view of the falls. Then, you’ll head uphill to the second viewing area, revelling in both vistas of the waterfalls and the loch. Continue walking along the path until you reach a track, with a signpost indicating Wade’s Road and the car park. Go left to follow it.
The path then heads back to the car park, but guess what? Your walk isn’t done just yet! So when you reach the waymarked paths veering left and right, go right to continue your adventure. The path then travels uphill, continuing along Wade’s Road. When you reach the unused quarry, go left and follow the track as it bends in the direction of Inchree. Keep following the red markers! When the red waymarkers indicate a left turn by a picnic table and bench, follow them to the left to dip in elevation. Continue back to the car park from here!
