Route Description for The Fairy Glen Circular Walk

The Fairy Glen Circular Walk is a popular journey for all ages! This short journey takes you through otherworldly scenery, immersing you in cone-shaped grassy hills, before unveiling Castle Ewan, a rocky tower that you can climb if you’re okay with a not-so-straightforward scramble.

While it’s not mandatory to follow the exact route outlined in the GPS, it does lead to all the best landmarks. So, it’s up to you if you want to create your own adventure or follow the map! When you get close to the rocky tower, it’s essential to keep all stones in their same position—it’s common for walkers to want to stack the stones. Ensure you take care when tackling this climb.
