Route Description for Trial Lake Trail
The Trial Lake Trail is a beautiful, family-friendly route east of Park City, Utah. This trail is in an area of lots of lakes and can get quite buggy in the early summer. If you are hiking in June or early July, be sure to wear long sleeves and/or bug spray to combat the mosquitoes. Mosquitoes aside, this hike is a gorgeous lakeside stroll that is fun for the whole family. We recommend making a day of it and bringing a picnic lunch to enjoy lakeside with your loved ones as you enjoy the beauty of the Utah wilderness together.
From the parking area at the south side of Trial Lake, follow the trail to the west side of the lake and make your way north along the western shore. Continue along the shoreline to the north end of Trial Lake, then turn around and retrace your steps back to the parking area where you began.
If you are looking for more to explore in the area, check out the Crystal Lake and Watson Lake Trail or the Shadow Lake via Crystal Lake Trail nearby.
