First, if you are planning on hiking during wetter times of the year, you will definitely need to wear proper footwear, as the trail is often coated in slippery mud. Second, you will need to arrive early, as this is a popular route and there is limited parking at the trailhead.

Even though it will be busy, this is still an excellent outdoor excursion that you won’t want to miss out on if you find yourself in this charming part of Oregon. A serene forest setting packed with massive trees and a stunning waterfall are the highlights of this hike, and the fact that it is family-friendly makes it even better!
