Lemolo Falls Hike
The Lemolo Falls Hike is a beautifully scenic adventure in Umpqua National Forest that follows the edge of a roaring river to an impressive waterfall. While out on the trail, you will make your way through Lemolo Canyon along the banks of the North Umpqua River, taking in the beauty of the forest surroundings before arriving at the site of Lemolo Falls. Make sure to bring bug spray, as there will likely be a fair amount of mosquitoes!

Route Description for Lemolo Falls Hike
Featuring easy-to-traverse terrain, scenic views, and a moderate overall distance, the Lemolo Falls Trail is a great adventure in Oregon that the entire family will enjoy.
Setting out from the trailhead on the edge of Lemolo Lake Road, you will head northwest along the trail as it leads through the dense cover of the forest. Here, you will hear the sound of running water on your left, as you hike along the banks of the North Umpqua River that winds through the canyon and leads you to Lemolo Falls.
Take your time here to admire the beauty of the roaring falls and set up for a relaxing picnic lunch in a picturesque setting. After you’ve wrapped up, simply head back along the same trail to return to your starting point.
Getting to the Lemolo Falls Hike Trailhead
The trailhead for this hike can be found along Lemolo Lake Road, just 1.1 km northwest of Lemolo Lake.
