Hikers should take note that there is spotty cell service in this area, so be sure to take this into consideration before setting out on your hike.

Route Description for Moon Falls Trail
For anyone looking to be wowed by incredible waterfall scenery without the need to hike for hours through the backcountry, the Moon Falls Trail is the perfect excursion. Easy to traverse and extremely short, the views along this route pack a punch for the low amount of effort required.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way east through the serene woodland terrain, taking in the beauty of the landscape as you arrive at the edge of Alex Creek. Here, you will find the majestic waters of Moon Falls that cascade down a rock face covered in moss.
After reveling in the views, simply turn back along the trail and follow the same route to return to your vehicle.
Getting to the Moon Falls Trail Trailhead
The trailhead for the Moon Falls Trail can be found on Forest Road 1702-728, just south of the junction with Alex Creek Road.
