Route Description for Tower Falls Trail
The Tower Falls Trail is a lovely hike in Yellowstone National Park. It should be noted that this trail does not bring you to the falls themselves but to a viewpoint overlooking the falls. The Tower Falls is an incredible 40 m waterfall that drops down Tower Creek, a tributary of the Yellowstone River. Be sure to bring a camera with you on this hike to capture some incredible photos of these impressive waterfalls.
To hike to the tower falls overlook, begin at the Tower Falls Trailhead and follow the path for just 0.2 km. The trail continues on from the overlook for another 0.5 km to Tower Creek, but most folks just turn back after stopping at the overlook for a few photos.

Getting to the Tower Falls Trail Trailhead
This trail begins at the Tower Falls Trailhead just behind the Tower Fall General Store on Grand Loop Road.
