The adventure begins in Winnipeg, where you’ll meet the tour group and guide. Explore the city by bus, visiting key landmarks like the Manitoba Legislative Building, Exchange District, St. Boniface, and The Forks. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with fellow travelers to discuss the upcoming northern adventure.
On Day 2, fly from Winnipeg to Churchill, crossing Manitoba’s landscapes. Upon arrival, explore the town’s history, including landmarks like Cape Merry and the site of a crashed airplane. After lunch, visit the Parks Canada Visitor Centre. End the day with a delicious dinner at a local family-run restaurant.
Start the day with a local dog musher for an exciting dog carting excursion through the boreal forest, learning about the role of dog sledding in northern culture. Later, visit Churchill's Itsanitaq Museum to view an extensive Inuit Art collection. In the afternoon, embark on a boat tour to spot beluga whales in the Churchill River, then take a walking tour of the historic Prince of Wales Fort, learning about the early explorers who survived Churchill’s harsh climate.
Today, embark on a thrilling Tundra Buggy adventure into the Churchill Wildlife Management Area. Explore the vast tundra in search of summer polar bears, Arctic foxes, hares, and a variety of unique northern plants and flowers.
On the last day, enjoy a Zodiac boat tour on the Churchill River, searching for curious beluga whales. Afterward, explore local shops and sights, including a photo by the Inukshuk at Hudson’s Bay. Later, fly back to Winnipeg for a restful evening, reflecting on the unforgettable experience and all the memories captured in photos.
