Itinerary for Bled Family Adventure
Tour Begins in Bled
When you arrive in the beautiful alpine town of Bled, you’ll make your way to your farmhouse accommodations. Get settled and explore the town or take a short hike in the foothills of the Alps.
Canyon and Biking Adventures
After a hearty breakfast, you’ll visit Jereka Canyon for an exciting canyoning adventure. Spend an unforgettable morning of scrambling over rock faces and waterfalls with an expert guide.
In the afternoon, you can choose between two great self-guided bike rides. Go on an exciting ride to the Vintgar Gorge or cycle around beautiful Lake Bled, Slovenia’s most recognizable destination.
Hike to the Mountain Pastures of Mt Košuta
In the morning you’ll prepare a small overnight pack for today's trip into the mountains. Take the 30-minute shuttle to the Karawanks where you’ll begin your hike on Mount Košuta.
Enjoy the panoramic mountain views as you hike to the alpine pasture where you’ll find Šija Hut. Stop for lunch at the hut, then you can explore the mountain meadows at your leisure in the afternoon.

Morning Hike and Rock Climbing
Enjoy the quiet of the mountain pastures during breakfast, and then you’ll start your hike down the mountain. The shuttle will pick you up at the bottom to bring you back to Bled.
This afternoon, a guide will take you out to try your hand at rock climbing. Spend the afternoon learning to scale rock faces suitable for beginner climbers.
Explore Bohinj Lake
This morning, your transport will bring you to Bohinj Lake where you’ll spend the day exploring. Start off with a hike to see the Savica Waterfall and then explore the magical Zlatorog Fairy Trail, offering unforgettable encounters with nature. You can return with an optional cable car ride to the Mt Vogel.
In the afternoon you can go for a swim or take out a canoe to paddle around the beautiful lake surrounded by mountains. At the end of the day, your transfer will bring you back to the farmhouse for the evening.
Whitewater Rafting Expedition
Today you’ll go on an exciting whitewater rafting adventure on the Sava River. This is a great place for your first rafting excursions as the water is beautiful and clear with rapids that are fun and easy.
After your adventure in the morning, the rest of your afternoon is free to explore.
Tour Concludes
Enjoy a final breakfast at the farm before you say goodbye. Your tour has come to an end and it’s time to begin your journey onward.

This tour is based in guesthouse accommodations. You’ll be staying in a farmhouse that offers 3-star accommodations near Bled and central to many of your outdoor activities. You’ll have a private room with an ensuite bathroom. Your night in the mountain hut will be either a private or shared room with bunk beds and shared washroom facilities.
In some cases, the accommodation listed below may need to be substituted for other comparable accommodations.

Is there a minimum age for the Bled Family Adventure?
The minimum age requirement to be able to participate in all the included activities is 6. You must be 6 years or older for the canyoning excursion and 5 years or older for the rafting excursion. However, children 4 and older are welcome on the tour but will be unable to participate in the above-mentioned activities. We recommend all children on the tour be adventurous and comfortable with new active experiences to get the most out of this tour.
How much money should I bring on the Bled Family Adventure for extra expenses?
It is advised that you bring at least 200 EUR for extra expenses, including food, drinks, and entrance fees. Some of the entrance fees you can expect are Vintgar Gorge (4 EUR per adult, 2 EUR per child), Savica Waterfall (3 EUR per person), and the return cable car ticket to Mt. Vogel (20 EUR per adult, 10 EUR per child).
