Hop on one of the bike-friendly local trains for an easy return to Dobbiaco or San Candido, making for a flexible and rewarding day of cycling. Two options for today's ride to and back from Lienz: Short option (cycle to Lienz and return on train to Dobbiaco) 43 km (27 miles), with + 145 m (475 ft) elevation gain.<br />Long option (cycling to Lienz and back to Dobbiaco): 87 km (54 miles), with + 830 m (2,722 ft) elevation gain.

From there, board a train to Cortina d'Ampezzo, which takes approximately 4 to 5 hours. Once you arrive, your hotel is conveniently located just 500 meters from the train station, so you can either take a quick 5-minute walk or hop in a taxi. Alternatively, a direct taxi from Treviso Airport to your hotel in Cortina takes around 2 hours. If you are flying into Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE), the easiest option is to take a direct shuttle bus to Cortina, which gets you there in just 2 hours. Another option is to travel by train, but be prepared for at least two connections along the way.
