Arrive in Hanoi and spend the evening wandering through its colonial-era streets, including a visit to Hoan Kiem Lake, a historic site tied to local legend. Take in the lively atmosphere of the capital and soak up its unique blend of culture and history.
Begin your exploration of Hanoi with visits to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Temple of Literature, and the Ethnology Museum. In the afternoon, stroll through the Old Quarter before boarding the night train to Sapa.
Arrive in Lao Cai and head to the vibrant Muong Hum Market to witness the colorful culture of various ethnic groups. Afterward, hike through the villages of Ta Giang Phinh, enjoying scenic views of rice terraces and local life.
Embark on a trek through the Muong Hoa Valley, passing through stunning terraced rice fields and traditional villages like Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai. Conclude the hike in Ta Van village, where you can relax and take in the serene atmosphere.
After a short walk through Su Pan village, populated by the Black H'mong and Red Dao, return to Sapa for lunch. Then, take a public bus back to Hanoi, arriving in the evening.
Visit a To He artisan's village, where you will learn how to make traditional Vietnamese toys. Afterward, ride a bike through the stunning landscape of Ninh Binh and explore the Van Long Nature Reserve by boat.
Travel to Halong Bay and embark on a scenic cruise through the stunning Lan Ha Bay, known for its towering limestone peaks and crystal-clear waters. Enjoy a delicious seafood lunch and dinner aboard the boat.
Wake up to a beautiful sunrise over Halong Bay before enjoying a final cruise around the bay. Afterward, return to Hanoi for your departure.
