Today, cycle out of Faenza and head toward Brisighella, passing through scenic fruit farms and olive orchards with the majestic Apennine mountains in the distance. For a more relaxing option, you can take a train from Faenza train station over the mountains to Florence. Option 1: Cycle to Brisighella, explore its charming alleys and hilltop fort, and then ride to Marradi (37 km / 23 miles). From there, catch the train to Florence with your bike (train ticket included). Option 2: For a longer ride, continue cycling to Borgo San Lorenzo (72 km / 44 miles), or take the full challenge and cycle all the way to Florence (104 km / 64 miles). If you opt for the longer ride, Cycle Europe will transfer your luggage to your Florence hotel. Alternatively, you can relax and skip the ride entirely, taking the train to Florence from Faenza. The train journey is included in your tour package!

To get to the starting point at Hotel Domus Clugiae in Chioggia, we recommend flying into Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE). From the airport, you have a couple of options: you can take a taxi directly to Chioggia, or take a bus from Venice Airport to Campo Marconi in Chioggia (approximately 90 minutes). Once you arrive at Campo Marconi, it’s just a 10-minute walk, or a 5-minute taxi ride to your hotel.
