While out on the trail, you will walk along the Coln River between Coln St. Aldwyns and Bibury before looping around to the southeast to traverse some rolling hills with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. This walk is packed with beautiful scenery and is steeped in local history, making it perfect for a fun weekend stroll.

    The Coln St. Aldwyns and Bibury Circular Walk features everything that you would want in a relaxing weekend stroll: beautiful riverside views, charming stone cottages, rolling green hills, and a commanding sightline across the terrain of the Cotswolds AONB. Setting out from the heart of Coln St. Aldwyns, you will follow along the meandering banks of the River Coln and enjoy the surrounding views before trekking through the historic village of Bibury. From here, follow the trail to the southwest across the open farmland before it turns to the southeast to traverse some rolling hills on the return leg of the walk that will bring you back to the village.

    To reach the starting point for the Coln St. Aldwyns and Bibury Circular Walk from Fairford, head to the northwest on Coronation Street and keep straight for 4.8 km before making a left turn.
