While out on this easy walk, you will traverse easy terrain that is interrupted only by a few gates, making it suitable for outdoor enthusiasts of every skill level. If you are looking to take a leisurely approach to your Cotswolds adventure, try popping into The Plough Inn at the midway point of the walk for some refreshments.

    Route Description for Finstock Stroll

    The Finstock Stroll is a fantastic experience for anyone that is simply looking to slow down and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, while reconnecting with nature. The trail will take you from the heart of the charming village of Finstock and lead you on a circuit through the picturesque fields that make up the Oxfordshire countryside. After traversing the terrain to the southeast of the village and passing by The Plough Inn, you will continue the loop to the southwest, following it north to pass by the Church of the Holy Trinity on the return back into the village.

    Getting to the Finstock Stroll Trailhead

    To reach the trailhead for the Finstock Stroll from CHarlbury, head south on The Slade/B4022 for 0.8 km and turn right onto Fawler Road/B4022. Follow this for 2.6 km and make a left on School Road, where you will find the car park on the right in 0.3 km.
