Guiting Power Circular Walk

The Guiting Power Circular Walk is a great route in the centre of The Cotswolds AONB that will produce some lovely views of the surrounding Gloucestershire countryside. While out walking, you will make your way across rolling hills and through tranquil stretches of woodland terrain to pass through the village of Kineton on the return to Guiting Power. The relatively laid back terrain and charming views make this a superb adventure for the entire family.

Route Description for Guiting Power Circular Walk

If you are after a leisurely stroll with picturesque views of the surrounding Gloucestershire countryside, then the Guiting Power Circular Walk is a great option to spend an afternoon on the trails. The trail will see you leave the charming village behind as you traverse the farmland to the northwest, working through the peaceful stretch of woodland terrain known as Guiting Wood that is dissected by a meandering stream. From there, you will turn to the east and cut across the open fields to arrive at the village of Kineton before turning back to the south on the return to Guiting Power. Both of the villages along the route have pubs where you can stop in for some mid/post-walk refreshments.

Getting to the Guiting Power Circular Walk Trailhead

To reach the trailhead for the Guiting Power Circular Walk from Winchcombe, drive southeast on Castle Street for 0.8 km and continue straight onto Sudeley Hill for another 2.3 km. Continue onto Campden Lane and follow it for 5.3 km, passing through the village centre, before turning right onto Church Road after 79 m. Follow this for 130 m to arrive at the car park.
