Walking The Cotswold Way - Stanton to Chipping Campden is an amazing experience that will allow you to take in the natural beauty of several locales within The Cotswolds AONB. While out on the trail, you will make your way through the historic villages of Stanton, Broadway, and Chipping Campden, all while surrounded by amazing views of the sprawling sea of green that makes up the rolling hills of the Gloucestershire and Worcestershire countryside. You will need to arrange a pick up at the end of this lengthy one-way trail, but the spectacular views are more than enough reward for your troubles.

Route Description for Cotswold Way: Stanton to Chipping Campden Walk

The Cotswold Way - Stanton to Chipping Campden is a fantastic walking route if you are looking to travel a bit of a further distance and experience a variety of highlights and terrain throughout The Cotswolds. This is a one-way route, so remember to pre-arrange a pick up at the terminus of the trail. Setting out from the village of Stanton, you will make your way to the southeast and climb up the steep hillside before turning to the north to traverse the elevated position on the way to the village of Broadway. Enjoy the sweeping views of the surrounding Gloucestershire and Worcestershire countryside, as they are very scenic along this portion of the walk. After passing through the historic village of Broadway, you will turn to the southeast to visit the Broadway Tower - the second highest point in The Cotswolds - and continue on towards Chipping Campden. Once you have crossed the open farmland, you will make another brief climb up Dovers Hill to enjoy some more scenic views of the rolling green hills before descending the hillside on the way to the end point of the trail in the village of Chipping Campden.

Getting to the Cotswold Way: Stanton to Chipping Campden Walk Trailhead

To reach the trailhead for The Cotswold Way - Stanton to Chipping Campden from Winchcombe, drive northeast on B4632 for 6.6 km and turn right to continue on for another 0.8 km. Keep straight on Stanway Road for 0.5 km and you will arrive at the starting point of the walk in the heart of Stanton.
