    Bisse de Clavau Hike

    The Bisse de Clavau Hike is a wonderful adventure in Crans Montana that follows a lengthy water source through a pristine landscape. The Lienne River, which feeds half a dozen bisses in the Crans Montana area, flows through the valley alongside many paths for walks and hikes. Stretching from the plain to the glaciers, there is so much amazing scenery to enjoy on this hike.

    Route Description for Bisse de Clavau Hike

    Starting from Icogne, you will descend into a wild part of the valley before entering the forest and descending towards the river. After crossing the river, you will continue for another 400 meters through the forest to arrive at the dam where the bisse has its source.

    Leaving the valley, you will continue along the hillside through the Rhone Valley and follow along the bisse while taking in the views of nearby vineyards. After passing through this scenic area, your journey will come to an end at the entrance to the city, where you can catch the bus to return to the starting point of the hike.

    Getting to the Bisse de Clavau Hike Trailhead

    To get to the Brasserie by car, departure from the bisse du Clavau, take the exit of the A9 motorway (Rhône motorway) called "Sion Est". Right after the motorway exit, at the roundabout, take the third exit and follow the signposts indicating Ayent/Savièse. At the second roundabout, take the second exit still following the signs for Ayent/Savièse, and the second exit at the third roundabout before the tunnel. At the roundabout after the tunnel, take the third exit towards Sion. The parking spaces are on the right-hand side, opposite the Brasserie.
