Bisse du Ro Short Hike
The Bisse du Ro Short Hike is a fun outdoor excursion in Crans Montana that follows along a small portion of the longer Bisse du Ro Hike and offers beautifully scenic views of the surrounding landscape. This route does not go up to Rawyl Dam, but rather returns to Plans-Mayens via a loop.

Route Description for Bisse du Ro Short Hike
Setting out from the trailhead, the Bisse du Ro Short Hike will lead you north alongside the ancient Bisse du Ro, passing through the forest landscape and offering views of the surrounding cliffs. Some parts of the trail can be vertiginous, so be sure to watch your step.
Reaching the end of the trail, hikers can either backtrack along the same route or descend a series of switchbacks to meet up with the Grand Bisse de Lens. This trail will loop around and bring you back to the starting point of your hike.
Getting to the Bisse du Ro Short Hike Trailhead
To reach Crans-Montana by car, take the exit of the A9 motorway (Rhône motorway) called "Sierre ouest". At the motorway exit, turn left and follow the signs for "Sierre". At the roundabout, turn right. Continue for 500 m, then at the entrance to Sierre, turn left following the signs for "Crans-Montana". Once you arrive in Crans-Montana, follow the signs for Route de Plans-Mayens and then Clébar-Palace.
