Col du Pochet Hike

The Col du Pochet Hike is a short, albeit difficult adventure in Crans Montana that features incredible views overlooking the valley. This demanding hike will take you from Les Violettes to Cry d'Er, via the Col du Pochet and Bella Lui.
Route Description for Col du Pochet Hike
Setting out from the starting point at the Cabane des Violettes, the Col du Pochet Hike will lead you uphill to the northwest, before turning southwest on the way to Bella Lui. From here, you will continue on through the mountainous terrain until you arrive at the endpoint of the route at Cry d'Er, at which point you can backtrack along the trail or take a cable car down the mountain.
Getting to the Col du Pochet Hike Trailhead
To reach Crans-Montana by car, take the exit of the A9 motorway (Rhône motorway) called "Sierre ouest". At the motorway exit, turn left and follow the signs for "Sierre". At the roundabout, turn right. Continue for 1640ft, then at the entrance to Sierre, turn left following the signs for "Crans-Montana". The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Crans-Montana, follow the signs for the Violettes cablecar car park.Route Information
