Le Trubelstock Hike
Le Trubelstock Hike is a challenging adventure in Crans Montana, Switzerland that will take you through a remote area with beautiful views. This hike should only be undertaken on beautiful sunny days, as the remote nature of the landscape means that you will not have access to help in the event of stormy or rapidly changing weather. Furthermore, this hike requires a good level of physical fitness, not only on the way up but also on the way down.

Route Description for Le Trubelstock Hike
Setting out from the trailhead, Le Trubelstock Hike begins at the restaurant La Cure, first following along the asphalt road, before climbing along a path to the cave of Scex and the bisse of Tsittoret. You will then cross the river to take the path through the high meadow, following it up to where the grass no longer grows at 2,500 m, at the Col de la Roue. From there, you will continue along a scree path to the end of the trail. The Trubelstock offers some of the most magnificent views in the Valais Alps. After taking them in, you can return along the same path.
Getting to the Le Trubelstock Hike Trailhead
To reach Crans-Montana by car, take the exit of the A9 motorway (Rhône motorway) called "Sierre ouest". At the motorway exit, turn left and follow the signs for "Sierre". At the roundabout, turn right. Continue for 500 m, then at the entrance to Sierre, turn left following the signs for "Crans-Montana". The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Crans-Montana, follow the signs for Aminona, and then the signs for Aminona car park.
