Lone Goat and Snow Camp Mountain Trail

The Lone Goat and Snow Camp Mountain Trail is a 19.8 km out-and-back hiking route within E.C. Manning Provincial Park that climbs along the Skyline Trail to reach these two amazing mountain peaks. Climbing along the ridgeline, you will have spectacular views of the surrounding area and depending on the time of year, it may be populated with beautiful wildflowers. This long route traverses some relatively easy terrain, making it a great option for some fun weekend exploring.

Route Description for Lone Goat and Snow Camp Mountain Trail
The Lone Goat and Snow Camp Mountain Trail is a lightly travelled route that climbs uphill along a ridgeline to provide some amazing views of the surrounding mountainous landscape. Most often completed as a long, single-day hike, this trail can also be extended to an overnight trip by travelling a bit further past Lone Goat Mountain to Mowich Camp. Additionally, there are very few water sources along this route, so hikers should remember to bring a good supply of water to stay hydrated on their journey. No matter how you decide to tackle this amazing route in E.C. Manning Provincial Park, you will leave the trail with memories etched in your mind of the beautiful alpine valleys and rugged mountains that make this area so picturesque.
Getting to the Lone Goat and Snow Camp Mountain Trail Trailhead
To get to the parking area for the Lone Goat and Snow Camp Mountain Trail from Hope, head east on BC-3 E for 60.0 km, then turn right onto Gibson Pass Road. Stay on the road for 8km and you will find the parking area and the trailhead on your left side.
