Route Description for Arundel Castle Walk
The Arundel Castle Walk boasts beautiful scenery and makes for a lovely stroll with the family. And you won’t need a map for the Arundel Castle Walk as this route is relatively easy to follow!
This walk begins at the car park next to the Arundel Museum and Heritage Centre. Following the path, you will walk along Mill Road, which will lead you to Swanbourne Lake and stunning views of the Arundel Castle. Before continuing on the path, stop at the castle and you can explore the grounds and the inside if you wish. After you have finished, continue along the path and it will take you right back to the car park where you started.
Getting to the Arundel Castle Walk Trailhead
To get to Arundel Castle Walk from the center of Arundel, head southeast on High Street toward Maltravers Street and turn right. Turn right onto New Cut and then turn left onto London Road. After 0.5 km, turn right to stay on London Road and in 0.2 km, keep left to stay on London Road. In 0.3 km, arrive at your destination.
