Route Description for Selborne Loop Walk
The Selborne Loop walk is a stunning path that takes you through woodlands and the countryside. The path can be muddy as many horses and cows wander along this trail (and among the wildflowers!). The walk begins at the village of Selborne, and at the entrance, you will follow the zigzag path to the hill. Begin your uphill climb to the top of the Selborne hill, which stands 211 m tall, and enters the wooded path.
You will continue to follow the path, rounding Coneycroft Hill and come to Selborne Hanger. Take in the views here and then continue on to end up back where you started at the beginning of this path, back into Selborne Village.
Getting to the Selborne Loop Walk Trailhead
To get to the Selborne Loop Walk from Alton, continue to Draymans Way, and after 0.6 km, take Selborne Road to Sotherington Lane in Selborne. After 8.5 km, continue on Sotherington Lane to your destination.
