Route Description for Tichborne, Hill Houses and River Itchen
The Tichborne, Hill Houses and River Itchen Walk is a stunning stroll that captivates the beauty of South Downs National Park. As you begin your journey along the path, you will cross streams, ponds and old churches. Stroll through rows of thatched-roof cottages and watch as cattle and horses graze in the fields in the distance. As you continue to walk through the path, you will arrive back where you began, as this is a circular walk.
Getting to the Tichborne, Hill Houses and River Itchen Trailhead
To get to the Tichborne, Hill Houses and River Itchen Walk from Alresford, head southwest on Jacklyns Lane/B3046 toward Salisbury Road and turn right at Prite Lane. In 1.3 km, turn right and you will arrive at your destination.
