    Penticton to Skaha and Green Lakes is an amazing cycling route that will expose you to some truly stunning views of the Okanagan Valley landscape. While out on this route, you will leave Penticton behind and travel along the gorgeous shores of Skaha Lake before passing through Okanagan Falls. At this point, you will climb through the hillside to pass by See Ya Later Ranch on the way to visit the Green and Mahoney Lakes. While some out-and-back routes are a bit of a chore, this one is a true pleasure, allowing you to relive the stunning scenery all over again.

    Route Description for Penticton to Skaha and Green Lakes Trail

    Cycling from Penticton to Skaha and Green Lakes is a fantastic experience that will see you witness the natural beauty of several charming lakes set within the beautifully scenic Okanagan Valley landscape. This moderate-length route will have you set out from the southern end of Penticton to traverse the relatively flat terrain along the picturesque shores of Skaha Lake before passing through Okanagan Falls. From here, continue on to the southwest along the courtsing Okanagan River before beginning the climb uphill past the beautiful vineyards of See Ya Later Ranch.

    Shortly after this, you will come to the serene shores of Green Lake. Continue on through the scenic landscape and make your way past Mahoney Lake, where you will eventually reach the terminus of the trail along 396th Avenue. As the route passes through some areas with breathtaking scenery, simply turn back and make your way along the same route to gain a different perspective of the picturesque Okanagan Valley landscape.

    Getting to the Penticton to Skaha and Green Lakes Trail Trailhead

    To reach the starting point for the Skaha/Green Lake Road cycling route from the Penticton Golf and Country Club, drive east on Eckhardt Avenue for 400 m and turn right onto BC-97. Follow this for 4.8 km and turn left on Skaha Lake Road to continue on for another 750.0 km. Turn right on Lee Avenue and make the next right onto Parkview Street, where you will find roadside parking on the right.
