Accommodation for Chaltén Discovery
This tour is based in lodges and campsites. Your camping equipment will be provided. The campsites are basic and many don’t have electricity, toilets, or showers.
In some cases, the accommodation listed below may need to be substituted for other comparable accommodations.

We rate this tour as a 4/5 as the hikes on this tour are up to 9 hours in length and occur at high altitudes with challenging elevation changes. You will navigate a via ferrata course on one of your hikes. You will also sleep in very basic campsites, be carrying your belongings in your backpack and potentially deal with inclement weather. What should I bring?
The recommended packing list for this tour includes but is not limited to: a 30-40L backpack, a hat, a buff, thermal layers, a fleece, a waterproof jacket and pants, warm gloves, hiking boots, a pair of sandals for wading, gaiters, poles (can be hired locally), sunglasses, lip balm, sunscreen, a water bottle, a headlamp, toilet paper, and comfortable hiking clothes.
