Trek to Loma del Pliegue Tumbado
You may want to arrive the day before your tour, as Day 1 wastes no time in getting started! Begin with a hike that leaves from El Chaltén to Laguna Toro. You’ll hike through Antarctic Beech forests to a picture-perfect viewpoint over Fitz Roy, Cerro Torre, and the Huemul Mountains. After getting started on a high note, you’ll keep going over an alpine ridge, descending down the Agachonas Pass and crossing a river with the help of a zip line (woohoo!) and arriving at the Prestadores Campground.

Laguna de los Tres
Wake up early for a wonderful day, beginning a hike to Laguna de los Tres. This gorgeous lake is at the foot of Mount Fitz Roy, one of the (if not the) most recognizable sights in Patagonia. You’ll be able to appreciate the Mother and Daughter Lagoons along the way. At the lake, savour the closest view you can get of the mountain and its satellite peaks without any technical skill. After lunch under the shadow of the mountain, hike to the Poincenot campground, a favourite of hikers and climbers from all around.
Distance 6-7 hours, 7km
Overnight Location Campground in Argentinian Patagonia
Included Meals Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Los Huemules Reserve Hike
Rise early enough to snap a sunrise photo of Fitz Roy (well worth losing a little sleep!) before packing up and beginning your hike. Today, you’ll start by hiking to the Piedras Blancas Glacier viewpoint, then on through a green valley known as Valle del Rio Diablo (the Devil’s River Valley). The path today is flatter, making the trek to tonight’s campsite much easier. You’ll go to sleep with views of the Cagliero Glacier.
Distance 6-7 hours, 10km
Overnight Location Lodge in Rio Diablo
Included Meals Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Via Ferrata Hike and the Cagliero Glacier
The last day of your tour doesn’t skimp on sights! Begin with a hike over a via ferrata course, donning your helmets and using the wire and ropes course to navigate the ascent. At the top, you’ll arrive at the Cagliero Glacier, where you’ll put your crampons on and begin to navigate the ice. Take photo and snack breaks, soaking up the time you have on this icy massif. At the end of your hike, you’ll transfer back to El Chaltén to wrap up your adventure.
