Depart from Quebec City at 8:30 a.m. and head toward Saint-Urbain. After a stop at the crossing office for final preparations, begin your hike to the Écureuil refuge, arriving in the afternoon. An optional bus departure from Montreal is available, with pick-up at the Quebec City downtown station.
Start the day on flat terrain, then gradually ascend along the mountainside. Follow the Gouffre River and choose between a flat riverside trail or a steeper expert trail to climb Mont des Morios. End the day at the Marmotte refuge by the river.
Hike to the summit of La Noyée mountain for panoramic views of the Charlevoix region, then descend into the valley to the La Chouette refuge, situated near a tranquil lake surrounded by fir trees.
Descend into a scenic valley during a hike through Hautes-Gorges de la Rivière Malbaie National Park. Enjoy breathtaking landscapes as you arrive at the Geai Bleu refuge, perched on a cliff along the Malbaie River.
Embark on an uphill hike to reach the Coyotte refuge. The trail features serene landscapes and offers a chance to relax in the wilderness.
Experience alternating uphill and downhill sections on this 18 km hike. Enjoy picturesque landscapes and pick fresh blueberries along the way before arriving at the Épervier refuge.
Conclude the adventure with a final hike to Mont Grand-Fonds, followed by a descent to civilization. On the way back to Quebec City, enjoy a well-deserved gourmet stop.
