Mangerton mountain has many legends attached to it but the most famous of all relates to the beautiful Corrie Lake that sits close to the Summit of the mountain. “The Devils Punchbowl” as it is known is a just reward for your efforts to hike up this beautiful mountain. Your guide will bring to life the stories of old and enlighten you as to why this name has been given to the lake. From the Summit you have wonderful vistas across Killarney national Park and beyond to the surrounding lands.
