Day 1 Arrive in Smoky Mountains National Park

Once you’ve traveled from Knoxville to Townsend, you’ll be able to check into your hotel and hit the trails! Your first hike on the itinerary is Middle Prong Trail.

Day 4 Walk the Famed Appalachian Trail

Begin your hike on the Appalachian Trail in Newfound Gap. You’ll hike through the lush forests to the rocky viewpoint at Charlies Bunion. Tonight you’ll move hotels and will be spending the rest of your trip in Bryson City.
