Discover the amazing sights in Yellowstone and Grand Teton on a guided hiking tour
Yellowstone is the oldest and one of the most popular national parks in the United States, offering miles and miles of pristine natural beauty to explore. The hikes included on this guided adventure have been specially selected to be easy enough for the beginner hiker but to also include the must-see regions of the park!
You’ll spend four days exploring the unique geothermal formations in Yellowstone. These include geyser basins, bubbling pools, travertine terraces, and of course the famous Old Faithful geyser! The tour finishes in the beautiful Tetons, where you’ll have a chance to hike through Cascade Canyon and to the scenic Inspiration Point, inspiring indeed. Embark on the special Yellowstone and Grand Teton Hiking Tour to enjoy all that two of the most stunning parks in the United States have to offer!
The shuttle will meet you at the airport in Bozeman to take you to the Mammoth area. Your first hike will be a loop through Beaver Ponds to the hot springs area. Here you’ll encounter your first active thermal area and travertine terraces!
You’ll continue hiking to the Norris Geyser Basin before heading to your hotel for the evening.
Today you’ll be exploring the boardwalks and paths of the Old Faithful area. You’ll see geyser basins, Firehole River, waterfalls, and the bubbling pools that make this area so famous. If you’re super lucky, you’ll witness some geothermal activity!
This morning you’ll begin by walking 3 miles to the top of Mount Washburn. From the summit, you’ll have a great view of the Yellowstone Caldera.
Then, you’ll be picked up and driven to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone for some more hiking. There are few trails for you to explore to visit the Upper and Lower Falls before you continue to Lake Village for the night.
Your day will begin with a nice, easy hike up Bridge Creek to see the bridge carved by nature. Then you’ll take the trail up Elephant Back Mountain for a spectacular view of Yellowstone Lake. Bring a camera!
After your day of hiking, you’ll be driven to your next stop in Grand Teton National Park.
The park doesn’t allow guided tours, so your final day will be self-guided. You’ll begin your explorations with a ferry ride across Jenny Lake for your hike to Inspiration Point. Take your time to take in your magnificent mountain surroundings as you walk around Cascade Canyon and the lake.
At the end of the day, the shuttle will drive you to Jackson, Wyoming where your tour ends. Safe travels home!

I’ve been using 10A route guides for a while, but had never booked a tour. My wife and I booked a self-guided hike in Greece and were so impressed with how we were able navigate the route without a guide with the detailed and easy to follow itinerary. We enjoy travelling independently, and 10A made that happen.

I’ve adventured around a lot of Canada and the US, but I’ve always wanted to explore other parts of the world. I felt a bit scared before booking my trip to Israel, but my conversations with the team at 10Adventures helped ease any worry. I can’t wait to explore more of the world!

Travel companies have had to go through a lot during the pandemic but 10Adventures were super flexible and accommodating nonetheless. I had to cancel my tour in France due to the pandemic. 10Adventures was great and let me reschedule for a later date!

Whenever I’m looking for my next adventure 10Adventures never fails. Their routes all over England are my main go to for exploring and I have only had great experiences booking both guided and self-guided trips in Europe and South America with them. I am looking into Africa next.

I just got back from backpacking in the Sierra Nevada, and WOW. What an unreal journey! The alpine meadows, waterfalls, and the lakeside camping spot were memorable highlights! I wonder what other tours 10Adventures has to offer. That one went so well that I am now convinced I need to book another!

I'm not a big fan of traveling because of my fear of flying, but my girlfriend convinced me to go on the Aurora Borealis Tour in the Yukon. I will never forget the mesmerizing northern lights. Such a romantic (and cold) getaway. I would highly recommend it.
