Tour through Nicaragua with a luxurious twist to each day
For travellers who are passionately curious about exploring but want to enjoy the finer things in life, the Luxury Adventure Tour in Nicaragua ticks all the boxes! Every day of this 9-day journey has been carefully curated to show off Nicaragua's incredible natural beauty and character.
Unwind in a tranquil private island ecolodge and enjoy a gorgeous beachfront resort on the Pacific Ocean. Take part in guided tours of Granada's colonial history and cultural experiences like cooking classes and private dinners with local personalities. You also peer into a volcano's “mouth of hell” full of lava and zipline through the canopies. Enjoy the lap of luxury and take part in all the fun adventures waiting for you in Nicaragua!
From the moment you arrive in Managua, you'll enjoy VIP airport services. A private driver will transport you from Managua to your hotel in the grand colonial city of Granada.
Get ready for an amazing tour of the UNESCO World Heritage recognized city of Granada by foot and horse-drawn carriage, followed by a chocolate making workshop using Nicaraguan cocoa.
Tonight you dine with an interesting local personality to get an insight into Nicaragua's history, art, and culture.
This morning you’ll summit the dormant Mombacho Volcano and take a thrilling zipline through the canopy of a plantation. Later you head to the Masaya Volcano to peer into the “mouth of hell” full of lava.
Start the day by visiting a local cultural figure in their own home and enjoy an authentic cooking class. Later you’ll take a ferry to Jicaro Island, a tiny piece of paradise in Lake Nicaragua with a private ecolodge.
You have the day free today to enjoy all that Jicaro Island Ecolodge has to offer, like swimming in the lake, doing yoga, watching wildlife, or just swinging in the hammock and enjoying the cool breezes.
From Jicaro Island, you’ll head back to the mainland and take the scenic drive to Tola. You'll spend the next few days here lapping up the sun, sand, and sea at the gorgeous Rancho Santana.
There's nothing like the sight of the waves rolling in from the Pacific as the sun rises over Playa Santana. Spend the day exploring the resort, which has five distinct beaches to choose from and 2700 acres of pristine beauty.
Rancho Santana has so many great activities for its guests to enjoy. Take a surfing lesson, try SUP, go horseback riding on the beach, sandboard down the dunes, or take a fishing charter. There's also golf, hiking, and wildlife watching. The choice is yours!
Unfortunately all good things must come to an end – even luxury vacations. A driver will pick you up from Rancho Santana and take you to Managua Airport for your outbound flight. Have a safe journey home.

I’ve been using 10Adventures route guides for a while, but had never booked a tour. My wife and I booked a self-guided hike in Greece and were so impressed with how we were able navigate the route without a guide with the detailed and easy to follow itinerary. We enjoy travelling independently, and 10Adventures made that happen.

I’ve adventured around a lot of Canada and the US, but I’ve always wanted to explore other parts of the world. I felt a bit scared before booking my trip to Israel, but my conversations with the team at 10Adventures helped ease any worry. I can’t wait to explore more of the world!

Travel companies have had to go through a lot during the pandemic but 10Adventures were super flexible and accommodating nonetheless. I had to cancel my tour in France due to the pandemic. 10Adventures was great and let me reschedule for a later date!

My wife Sarah and I had a great experience booking our 7-day cycling trip through Portugal via 10Adventures. The communication between us and Nadine leading up the trip was top-notch!

Whenever I’m looking for my next adventure 10Adventures never fails. Their routes all over England are my main go to for exploring and I have only had great experiences booking both guided and self-guided trips in Europe and South America with them. I am looking into Africa next.

I just got back from backpacking in the Sierra Nevada, and WOW. What an unreal journey! The alpine meadows, waterfalls, and the lakeside camping spot were memorable highlights! I wonder what other tours 10Adventures has to offer. That one went so well that I am now convinced I need to book another!

I'm not a big fan of traveling because of my fear of flying, but my girlfriend convinced me to go on the Aurora Borealis Tour in the Yukon. I will never forget the mesmerizing northern lights. Such a romantic (and cold) getaway. I would highly recommend it.
