Explore Kuala Lumpur
After breakfast, this morning, meet your representative in the lobby and prepare for a magical day of adventures. Today you’ll visit the Thean Hou Chinese Temple, Batu Caves, and the Pewter Factory. Thean Hou Temple is one of the largest Chinese temples in South-East Asia and is located on top of Robson Hill. This temple belongs to the Malaysian Chinese community in Malaysia and public donations made it possible to open the temple in 1989. This is a spectacular place and a first-class example of the beauty of Chinese architecture. Thean Hou Temple is a perfect place to just sit down and relax and watch the majestic Kuala Lumpur skyline behind the spectacular pagoda roofs of the temple. Batu Caves is an iconic and popular tourist attraction in Selangor. The site of a Hindu temple and shrine, Batu Caves attracts thousands of worshippers and tourists, especially during the annual Hindu festival, Thaipusam. A limestone outcrop located just north of Kuala Lumpur, Batu Caves has three main caves featuring temples and Hindu shrines. Its main attraction is the large statue of the Hindu God at the entrance, besides a steep 272 climb up its steps to finally view the stunning skyline of the city centre. Finish today with a tour of the fascinating Pewter Factory.

A great way to spend the day is with a day trip to the historic town of Melaka, located 2.5 hours south of Kuala Lumpur. Melaka is strategically located along the Straits of Malacca. You will also visit the famous Red Square, with the Stadhyus and Christ Church. A trip to Melaka is not complete without a stroll along Jonker Street with its brightly coloured shops and vendors on both sides of the road peddling their wares, ranging from cheap souvenirs to hand-crafted Baba Nyonya shoes.
